At Fresh Country Farms (FCF), we are focused on sustainable investing and sustainable practices, and have mapped how we contribute to the international standards set out by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
With consideration to areas such as environmental impacts, innovation and global hunger, our mapping of these goals shows that our work in this space has a positive influence on almost all of the goals, but a greater positive impact on the below seven goals.
No Poverty
FCF provides the land and water resources to enable increasingly sustainable production that can feed all people Australian produce as much as possible all year round. In doing so we do pay all Federal and State legislated taxes to the governments to indirectly enable funding of welfare programs.
Gender Equality
FCF has a goal to achieve gender equality and empower all women. Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
Zero Hunger
FCF provides the land and water resources to enable increasingly sustainable production to feed all people, both in Australia and globally. We do this by producing as much as sustainably possible at sustainable production prices, thereby contributing to reduce global hunger.
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
FCF will build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation.
Good Health and Wellbeing
FCF accepts our responsibility for the health and safety of people who may be affected by our activities and will act positively, where possible, to prevent injury, ill health, damage and loss to both property and the environment arising from our services.
Life below Water
FCF is a professional and conscious organisation which acknowledges the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment within which we operate.

FCF will ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Life On Land
FCF is the custodian of the land and water to which it owns. We will protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage trees, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
